Police monitoring activities of terrorists in Karnataka jails

BENGALURU: The state police have intensified their surveillance on individuals imprisoned for terrorist activities following the Pahalgam terror attack. They are compiling detailed information about these inmates, including the crimes they were involved in, family background, affiliations and behaviour in jail.

How Long Do You Stay in Jail If You Can't Make Bail?The police are gathering data on over 120 terrorists currently lodged in various jails across the state, starting with Parappana Agrahara Central Jail in Bengaluru. The information being gathered includes their socio-economic background, family details, and visitors at the jails.

The aim is to closely monitor these terrorists and prevent any potential security threats by keeping a close eye on their activities and associations, sources said.
