BENGALURU: Actor Darshan, an accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, is currently out on interim bail. Darshan was granted temporary relief for 45 days, but now faces uncertainty again.

The police have sought legal opinion on challenging the interim bail order and are considering an appeal in the Supreme Court. This comes after doctors treating him have suggested that Darshan may need only physiotherapy and surgery may not be required.

The police have asked legal experts to review the bail order and provide their opinion. The Home Department and legal experts have given the green signal to appeal, and the police are preparing to approach the Supreme Court.

Darshan was granted interim bail by the High Court due to health issues, specifically severe back pain, which required surgery, as reported by the Victoria Hospital. Now, the police are planning to challenge the High Court’s order and file an appeal.
