Police issue third notice to those who stuck PayCM posters

BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have sent a third notice for four people to attend the inquiry on Tuesday, for pasting PayCM posters against Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

The CCB police sent the notice to Kalakayya Swami Sanjay, Siddaiah, Vinod Kumar and Madan Gopal. Earlier, notices were sent on October 1 and October 11. As they did not attend the inquiry on both occasions, a third notice was issued asking them to join the investigation at 10.30 am on October 25.

The CCB’s investigating officer ACP T V Suresh issued the notice. The poster was pasted near the CBI office in Ganganagar, defaming the Chief Minister. Two separate FIRs were registered at Sanjay Nagar and JC Nagar. Later, the two cases were transferred to the Central Crime Branch to investigate the PayCM poster.
