BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police have filed a chargesheet in the rave party case which was held at a farmhouse in Electronics City on the outskirts of the city in May this year. The police have named 75 people in the chargesheet.

The police had rounded up over 100 people, including some from neighbouring Andhra Pradesh and Telugu actress Hema, and had collected their blood samples for tests. The samples had revealed the presence of narcotic substances in the blood.

Hema had initially claimed that she was not at the rave party and was in fact at her farmhouse in Telangana and had alleged that a smear campaign was going on. The CCB police had arrested her, subjected her to medical tests and she was lodged in the central prison at Parappana Agrahara. She was later released on bail.
