BENGALURU: The Central Crime Branch (CCB) police in Bengaluru have filed a 380-page chargesheet against 11 fans of actor Darshan for posting obscene and derogatory comments against actress Ramya on social media.
The chargesheet includes screenshots of the comments, Ramya’s statement, FSL reports, mobile phones and the accused’s confessions. Six more accused individuals are still on the run, and the police plan to file an additional chargesheet once they are caught.
The chargesheet was filed as the 60-day time limit was approaching while four others in the case were let off. The case is likely to go to trial soon, and the accused may face jail time for their actions, which were driven by blind devotion to Darshan.
