KOLAR: The Bangarpet police conducted a raid on a prostitution den and rescued three women and arrested four individuals, including the alleged kingpin, Geetha.
The raid was carried out based on a tip-off that a house in Vijayanagar, Bangarpet, was being used for prostitution. The police, led by KGF SP Shivanshu Rajput, arrested Geetha, Mary, Manjula, and three men, and rescued one woman.
The investigation revealed that the accused were targeting vulnerable women and leading them into prostitution with promises of money. They were also taking a 20 per cent commission from the customers.
The police have registered a case against the accused and are conducting further investigation. The women rescued during the raid are being provided with necessary support and assistance.
