PM Modi to arrive in Mysuru on Saturday evening, head to Bandipur on Sunday morning

CHAMARAJANAGAR: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will arrive in Mysuru on Saturday evening where he will stay overnight and head for a safari at the Bandipur National Park early on Sunday.

The PM will release a postal stamp at Bandipur camp.

The PM will leave Mysuru by helicopter at 6.30 am on Sunday and reach the helipad created at Melukamanahalli at 7 am. He will release a postal stamp at the Bandipur camp to mark 50 years of Project Tiger and later head for a safari. The Prime Minister will reach the Maralala Kalla Betta where the entourage may stop for tea.

The PM will reach Mudumalai through the safari route.

The PM will continue on the safari route to cross the Kekkanahalli checkpost and reach the Mudumalai elephant camp on the Tamil Nadu side around 9.30 am. There, the PM is expected to meet The Elephant Whisperers couple Bomman and Bellie and felicitate them.

From there, he will head back to Mysuru where he will address a gathering at the Open Air Theatre on the University of Mysore campus on the 50 years of the Project Tiger.
