PM Modi begins roadshow in Bengaluru

Prime Minister Narendra Modi showered flower petals on the crowd as the road show began from Jayanagar, on Saturday.

BENGALURU: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Saturday began his 26-km roadshow in a flower-bedecked vehicle from Brigade Millenium in JP Nagar. As the convoy started to move, the PM showered flower petals on the crowd.

Folk artists in colourful costumes and hordes of peopled have lined up the stretch of the roadshow route. The convoy will pass through South End Circle, Dewan Madhavarao Circle and Dodda Ganapathi Temple Junction and culminate at Circle Maramma temple in Malleswaram.

Huge crowds have lined up along the roads.

On Sunday, the roadshow will be between 10 am and 11.30 am from Suranjan Das Circle to Trinity Circle and the distance has been reduced by 4 km. The changes were made on the directions of the Prime Minister, the party said.
