Pictures show Renukaswamy's skull cracked and also him pleading for his life.

BENGALURU: A day after the Kamakshipalya police filed a 3991-page chargesheet against actor Darshan, his friend Pavithra Gowda and the other accused in the Renukaswamy murder case, pictures of the victim pleading with his attackers to spare his life and the murderous assault on him have surfaced.

In one of the pictures, a badly beaten up Renukaswamy, almost naked, can be seen crying and pleading with his attackers to spare him. Some trucks parked at the Pattanagere shed can also be seen.

Other pictures reveal the horrific torture that Renukaswamy endured. In one of them, Renukaswamy’s head can be seen cracked after he was attacked with a wooden piece and his head banged against a goods vehicle.

Darshan and his gang first hit Renukaswamy with lathis, wooden pieces and then banged his head against a good vehicle, leading to severe blood loss and resulting in his death. Renukaswamy was also administered electric shocks at the Pattanagere shed. One of the pictures also shows Darshan inside the shed.

Renukaswmay’s body also bore numerous wound marks. His left ear had been chopped off and pictures also show the megger, rope, lathi and other articles used to torture and murder Renukaswamy.

The police also conducted a spot inspection of the Stony Brook Restaurant where Darshan and his friends had partied prior to the murder. The owner had created a separate lounge, D-Boss Safari, for them. The police have submitted all this as part of the evidence along with the chargesheet before a Bengaluru court.

On seeing the pictures of his son, Renukaswamy’s fathher Kashinath Shivanagouda broke down. Speaking to Public TV, he said, “We have already lost our son, and hearing about him everyday, we have become walking corpses. I don’t know what to say… When they were assaulting him, did not even one person have any humanity? When my son was screaming, didn’t it prick their conscience? What kind of a monstrous mentality they must have. I don’t think such a thing has happened anywhere in the world”, he said with tears in his eyes.

“God will teach them a lesson. I can only wonder what kind of an environment they (attackers) grew up in to behave like this. My health is failing and there is no peace in the family. What will I tell my daughter-in-law? I thank the media for bringing out the truth. What punishment these criminals should get, the government and the courts will decide. They should feel the pain. I appeal to Darshan’s fans to see their mentality and wake up”, Kashinath said.
