Fuel being loaded oin bowsers in Srinivasapura taluk to be sold in Andhra Pradesh.

KOLAR: With fuel prices being higher in neighbouring Andhra Pradesh, petrol and diesel are being filled in bowsers late at night at fuel station in the border areas and transported illegally to the neighbouring state where it is sold.

The police have turned a blind eye to the illegal transport of fuel.

Tractor tankers and huge drums are filled late at night at fuel stations in Srinivasapura taluk under Rayalpadu police limits and transported clandestinely. It is said that thousands of litres of fuel are illegally transported across the state borders. Locals allege that the Rayalpadu police have turn a blind eye to the mafia.
