BENGALURU: A pedestrian was killed after being hit by a speeding cement-mixer truck on Basavanagudi Road, near Ramakrishna Math in Chamarajpet area on Wednesday morning.
According to the police, the truck driver was overtaking another vehicle when he lost control and hit the pedestrian. The man died on the spot.
The incident occurred around 8 am on Wednesday and the Basavanagudi traffic police have registered a case. The police have shifted the body to KIMS Hospital for post-mortem examination.
