BENGALURU: Pavithra Gowda, the prime accused and mastermind in the murder case of Renukaswamy from Chitradurga, admitted during the investigation that she assaulted him in the RR Nagar shed.
She also recorded her statements against Darshan, implicating him in Renukaswamy’s murder. According to Pavithra Gowda, Darshan beat up Renukaswamy black and blue after she slapped him once with her footwear.
Police sources revealed that Pavithra told the police while in custody, that Darshan was already in the shed when she arrived. However, Darshan did not anticipate her recorded statement.
Darshan had intervened in the murder case solely to support Pavitra Gowda, but she gave a contradictory statement implicating him, which surprised the police, the sources said.
