There was a rush of passengers at KIA on Thursday.

BENGALURU: The chaos with regards to IndiGo flights continued on Thursday with passengers venting their frustration at the airline’s counters at the Kempegowda International Airport.

Thousands of passengers across India have been stranded as Indigo, India’s largest airline, has been facing technical issues, leading to hundreds of flight cancellations and delays.

The airline has apologised for the inconvenience and blamed the disruptions on software and technical issues, bad weather, and increased air traffic. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has also introduced new Flight Duty Time Limitation (FDTL) rules, which Indigo is opposing.

On Thursday passengers were expressing their frustration and anger at Indigo’s counters at Kempegowda International Airport, demanding refunds and compensation. The airline has promised to resolve the issue within the next 48 hours.

Over 150 flights have been cancelled at Kempegowda International Airport alone since November 1, affecting both domestic and international travel. The situation is causing huge inconvenience to passengers who had booked tickets in advance and were planning to travel for holidays, family gatherings, or business meetings.
