BENGALURU: A multi-axle truck caused a serial accident after it rolled down from where it was parked, hit three to four parked vehicles besides a moving good vehicle, before overturning and coming to a stop. The incident took place within Kamakshipalya police station limits.
It is suspected that the parking brakes of the truck had not been engaged, as a result of which it rolled ahead and crashed into some vehicles. Fortunately, no one was seriously hurt in the accident.
The truck was stationed in front of a godown on the roadside for unloading construction tiles. Footage from CCTV shows the truck suddenly moving even as the labourers are preparing to unload the truck.
Two or three parked vehicles, including a car, were damanged and a moving Tata Ace good vehicle overturned as a result of the incident. Kamakshipalya traffic police visited the spot and registered a case.
