BENGALURU: The city police have revealed that activists of the now banned Popular Front of India (PFI) distributed pamphlets condemning the Supreme Court verdict in the Ram Janmbhoomi (RJB) case.

The pamphlet, which the police feel was aimed at stoking trouble, read, “The Ayodhya Ram Janmbhoomi verdict is the biggest injustice in this country. We cannot accept this judgment and we should protest against it. There should be continuous protest.”

Without coming on the radar of the police, the activists managed to circulate the pamphlets for a month. The PFI activists admitted that their leaders’ speeches had given them the motivation to distribute the pamphlets and organise protests to oppose the Ayodhya verdict.
