BENGALURU: Paid parking facility is set to be introduced in parts of Malleswaram, a popular shopping hub in Bengaluru, to manage traffic congestion. The Bengaluru West City Corporation has invited tenders for the implementation of pay-and-park along seven roads of Malleswaram.
The roads identified for pay-and-park are Sampige Road, 18th Cross Road, 15th Cross Road, 11th Cross Road, 8th Cross Road, 4th Main Roadand 2nd Main Road.
The charges proposed are Rs 30 per hour for four-wheelers and Rs 15 per hour for two-wheelers. Daily passes will also be available. The move aims to reduce traffic congestion and parking issues in the area.
