YADGIR: A fire broke out at the Banadeshwar Cotton Mill on Kanekal Road in Yadagir due to an electrical short circuit. The fire damaged machinery and a large quantity of cotton.
The incident occurred late at night at the cotton mill, which belongs to Siddarama Reddy. Approximately 3 quintals of cotton were damaged in the fire. The mill workers responded quickly and successfully extinguished the fire, preventing further damage.
The fire was brought under control before it could spread, and no major loss was reported. The Saidapur police are investigating further.
