BENGALURU: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) has issued notices to over 200 hotels, pubs, bars, and clubs in eight zones of Bengaluru for not having designated smoking zones.
According to the BBMP regulations, establishments with more than 30 seats are required to have smoking zones.
The BBMP health authorities have given the establishments a one-week deadline to comply with the regulations. If they fail to do so, it will result in the cancellation of their licences.
