HASSAN: At least 20 passengers were injured after a KSRTC bus collided with a lorry from behind in Channarayapatna taluk on Saturday. Three of them, including the bus driver, sustained serious injuries.
The accident occurred near Dandiganahalli village on Saturday morning when the bus, travelling from Bengaluru to Hassan, hit the lorry. The bus driver is suspected to have got drowsy, leading to the accident.
The injured passengers are being treated at HIMS hospital. Police visited the scene and are investigating. A case has been registered at the Channarayapatna Rural police station.
