HAVERI: A driver-cum-conductor of a NWKRTC bus is in the centre of a controversy after he stopped the bus midway and started to offer namaz on Tuesday evening. A passenger recorded the act on his mobile phone and the video has since gone viral with netizens demanding action against the driver-cum-conductor.
The bus was plying between Hangal and Vishalgarh when the driver suddenly stopped the bus, which was full of passengers, and started offering namaz on one of the seats. The passengers were taken aback by the driver’s action.
After the video was circulated on social media, many have called for action against the driver for his action during duty hours.
