Notorious gang steals hard disk of yet-to-be released movie from parked car

BENGALURU: A notorious gang stole a hard disk of a yet-to-be-released movie from a parked BMW car after breaking its windshield at Vijayanagar in the city.

The entire act was caught on a CCTV camera. The Vijayanagar police registered a case, tracked the accused to Tamil Nadu and arrested the father Jayaseelan, but his son escaped.

The ‘Ramji Gang’ is active again in Bengaluru, and was involved in the theft of the hard disk from BMW car. The incident occurred when the producer and hero of the movie ‘I Am God,’ Ravi Gowda, had parked his car and left.

The gang broke the car’s windshield and stole a hard disk containing video footage, Rs 75,000 in cash, a tab and an expensive bag.
