BENGALURU: Even after 19 days, the sitting Hassan MP, Prajwal Revanna is still remained elusive, though the special investigation team (SIT) has issued several warning notices. Prajwal Revanna has not responded to any of the notices and SIT officials now say that he may not return to India any time soon as he had not boarded a flight on which he had booked a ticket.

Earlier, the SIT sources said that Prajwal was expected to arrive today, but later said he may not be returning soon. After an FIR was registered against him and his father H D Revanna, Prajwal had sought time to attend the hearing stating that he was out of the country.

Prajwal Revanna had reportedly booked a business class ticket on a Deutsche Lufthansa flight from Munich to Bengaluru and was expected to arrive in the city. But the flight took off from Munich and Prajwal was not on board the flight, SIT officials confirmed after checking with the airport authorities.

The SIT officials have been in constant touch with the airport authorities. Prajwal Revanna is an accused in a sexual assault and rape case and allegedly involved in an obscene video case. The SIT has issued four notices, including a blue corner notice, and directed him to present himself for inquiry.

Prajwal Revanna fled abroad soon after the incident came to light. Earlier, it was believed that he went to Frankfurt in Germany and later to Dubai in the UAE.
