DAVANAGERE: Weeks after Honnali MLA Renukacharya’s nephew Chandrashekhar’s death, another interesting piece of information has come to the fore in the preliminary post-mortem report.

According to information made available to Public TV  by credible sources, there were no assault marks on the body. There was no sign that Chandrashekhar’s hands had been tied up before the accident, and there were no marks of assault on the back of his head. There were no wounds or injuries from any weapon on his body.

Earlier, Renukacharya’s family had made serious allegations that Chandrashekar was killed by someone and that it was intentional.

The police, who are continuing the investigation in the case, are looking at two perspectives — whether it was murder or suicide — on the directions of Chief Minister Basavaraj Bommai.

Apart from this, forensic experts have also checked whether any foreign substance was injected into Chandrashekar, but they have not come across anything that would point towards murder. The police are expected to reveal more information regarding the cause of Chandrashekhar’s death within a week.
