“My son has fever and cough, but there is no doctor here. At this late hour, how can we take the child to Chitradurga or Davanagere? I have visited the health centre 5-6 times in the last few days, but the doctor is never available”, said a parent.

“The health centre caters to people of 25-30 villages and Chitradurga and Davanagere are both 30 km away. The doctor is never available and only the nurse is available to attend to patients. The health authorities should immediately take action”, said another villager.
