RAMANAGARA: Nikhil Kumaraswamy and BJP state president B Y Vijayendra go together, just like brothers. They will participate in the election with good relations, former CM H D Kumaraswamy said after meeting Vijayendra at his farmhouse in Bidadi on Sunday. At the meeting, both leaders inquired about each other.

Talking about Vijayendra’s visit, Kumaraswamy said he should have visited long ago. “It couldn’t happen because there were too many programmes. The purpose of our visit is to develop the state. We discussed Modi becoming the Prime Minister of the country again, not the allocation of seats for the Lok Sabha election. The issue of seat sharing will be discussed with central leaders of the BJP”, he said.

“The vigour and enthusiasm of the party activists have increased with the appointment of a young state BJP chief. I have seen that Vijayendra has been working hard. In 2006–07,  me and Yeddyurappa formed a coalition government. Even today, people are of the same opinion that our coalitiongovernment should come to power again”.

Talking about Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s Janata Darshan, Kumaraswamy said, “We had successfully conducted Janata Darshan at that time. Siddaramaiah has given a big advertisement for Janata Darshan. Now, it’s only for publicity”.

Meanwhile, BJP state chief Vijayendra said that after the discussions in Delhi, may days have passed since an agreement was made in the interest of the state. “I also met and discussed this with former Prime Minister Deve Gowda. I have just met former Chief Minister Kumaraswamy. We should together win all the 28 Lok Sabha constituencies in next year’s elections. This anti-farmer, anti-state government should be taught a lesson. We discussed all the issues”.

Commenting on the Lok Sabha election seat allocation issue, “Our central leaders will take a decision on that. We will discuss whatever issues we have. Our goal is to make Narendra Modi the Prime Minister of the country once again”, Vijayendra stressed.
