BENGALURU: A newlywed woman attempted suicide at her husband’s house in Ramamurthy Nagar on Wednesday. She’s currently undergoing treatment at a private hospital.
Ganavi (26) married Suraj on October 29 and had a grand reception at Palace Grounds. The couple went to Sri Lanka for honeymoon 10 days ago, but returned abruptly. Ganavi allegedly tried to hang herself at her husband’s home on Wednesday afternoon.
Ganavi’s family accuses Suraj and his family of harassment, leading to her attempted suicide. A complaint has been filed at Ramamurthy Nagar police station against Suraj and his family.
