BENGALURU: A newborn baby boy was found in a garbage dump by the roadside in Madanayakanahalli, and was rescued by the police before any untoward incident.
The newborn baby was wrapped in a baby blanket and abandoned in a garbage heap in Madanayakanahalli police station limits.
Locals spotted the baby crying and informed the police. Inspector Muruli and his team rushed to the spot and rescued the baby. The newborn was taken to BGS Hospital for treatment and received care after being found in a distressed state without food.
A case has been registered at Madanayakanahalli police station, and the police are investigating to find those responsible for abandoning the newborn baby.
