NEW DELHI: One person died and eight were injured after an under-construction basement of a hospital in Sector-12, Dwarka collapsed in the late hours of Thursday.
According to the officials, a crime team has been informed to inspect the accident spot and a case is being registered.
Santosh, the husband of the deceased woman who was killed in the incident, said, “We were working here when the wall collapsed. My wife died. She was also working there. The incident happened at around 6 pm. My wife died on the spot. Around 25-30 people were at work. She has been taken for post-mortem. Around 8-10 people have been injured. What can we do? The government will give justice.”

Earlier on July 22, a 45-year-old woman was killed and several others injured when a DTC electric bus collided with a metro pillar in the Punjabi Bagh area. The sudden braking of the bus also caused an auto rickshaw to collide with it from behind, resulting in injuries to its occupants. (ANI)
