BENGALURU: For pet parents, the animals can mean the world to them. People want them to be a part of everything they do in their own lives. In one such instance, a family in Shanthinagar, Nelamangala, organised a baby shower for their mare on Sunday.
The owner Jayaram organised a baby shower for their six-year-old horse named Aadhya. The horse was dressed up and wore garlands around her neck. The family members did a puja and put a tilak on the horse’s forehead. They had invited all the family members and arranged food for them. The family members performed all the traditional baby shower rituals for the horse too.
“We have organised the traditional baby shower for our pet horse, Aadhya. We are all happy to be part of the event and we are excited to welcome her baby. The doctors have said that she will deliver in a week or so,” said Ekanth, the son of the horse owner.
“We are organised a baby shower for our pet horse and this is a very happy moment for us. Aadhya is a part of our family and we are taking very good care of her. We are celebrating the moment and we are excited to welcome her baby “, said Madhu, Jayaram’s other son.
