The staff at the college denied entry to candidates wearing jeans.

CHITRADURGA: In a shocking revelation, the staff at the NEET centre at the Government Science College here denied entry to aspirants wearing jeans, prompting their parents to rush and buy new clothes for their wards. The staff also got the aspirants to remove sacred thread tied on the wrists, around the neck and at the ankles.

Students who appeared for the exam wearing jeans were in shock when they were not allowed into the exam halls. Their parents then rushed to buy new clothes. The staff also put cellotape on female students who were wearing nose studs.

Even belts and footwear were not allowed and heaps of them were found outside the exam centre. Pictures of torn full sleeve arms of shirts, belts and sacred threads dumped outside the exam centre were widely shared on social media.
