BIDAR: A mysterious explosion occurred at Molkera village in Humnabad taluk on Saturday, Bidar district, leaving two people critically injured and six schoolchildren seriously hurt. The villagers are in panic, and the police are maintaining a heavy presence in the area.

The incident is suspected to be caused by an explosive object, and authorities are investigating. The blast was lkely caused by a suspicious object, suspected to be a chemical-filled barrel that had been stored in a house.

The injured include Anwar Pasha (18) and Jabbar Sab (65), who have been shifted to Hyderabad and Solapur for treatment. Three children are being treated at BRIMS hospital, with their condition stated to be serious. The other injured children have been treated and discharged from the hospital.

Minister Eshwar Khandre has ordered a probe, and a special team, including bomb disposal squad and forensic experts, were examining the scene. The police are investigating the possibility of a transformer blast, and samples have been sent for forensic analysis.

MLA Siddu Patil has visited the village and met with the police officials, seeking a thorough investigation. The authorities are exploring all possibilities, including the possibility of a chemical explosion. The incident has sparked concerns, and the authorities are working to ascertain the cause and circumstances surrounding the blast.
