BENGALURU: A multi-axle truck jumped the road median and crashed into a Namma Metro barricade on the Outer Ring Road between Nagawara and Hebbal on Friday morning. The accident occurred after the truck driver lost control.
As a result, traffic had come to a standstill for more than an hour. The traffic jam extended for about 10 km between Hebbal and Ramamurthy Nagar. Some two-wheeler riders even passed through under the bed of the truck as they were getting late.
Finally, after much effort, the traffic police managed to clear the truck from the road with the help of two excavators.
