CHIKKAMAGALUR: A 25-year-old man from Mudigere taluk, who was undertaking the Kedarnath Yatra, died after he fell ill. His mortal remains have been kept at the government hospital in Hrishikesh.
Girish J C (25), a cook hailing from Jannapura village in Mudigere taluk, had set off on the Kedarnath Yatra last week. However, he developed health complications and died.
The Kedarnath police informed the family members who are expected to proceed to Hrishikesh to take custody of the body after autopsy.
