KOLAR: A motorcycle rider sustained serious injuries after a boulder being transported in a truck from a quarry fell on him at KB Hosalli village in the taluk on Monday night.
Pavan (23) was riding behind the truck when a boulder fell on him, leaving him badly injured in the face and legs. He was immediately shifted to a private hospital for treatment.
The stone quarry and the truck belong to one Mujeeb and it is said that the truck was overloaded, causing a boulder to fall off. The Vemgal police have registered a case.
