KALABURAGI: A mother and son duo had a narrow escape from death at the Kalaburagi Nagar railway station on Tuesday night.
The mother and son were crossing the railway track at the station when a goods train came on the same track. The duo could not climb on to the platform immediately, and they huddled up in the space between the track and the platform and waited until the train sped past them.
In a video, they can be seen caught up between the platform and a fast-moving goods train. The son came to save his mother after sensing danger. Once the train sped past them, they rose unharmed. People in the railway station were anxious, but they were relieved after the duo escaped unharmed, defying death.
