DHARWAD: A mother-son duo died while several others were injured after the passenger vehicle in which they were travelling crashed into a roadside tree on the national highway near a dhabha on the outskirts of Tegur in Dharwad taluk in the wee hours on Monday.
The deceased were identified as Suresh Tuppad (52) and Mahantamma Tuppad (65). The injured were shifted to a private hospital. The vehicle was returning from a temple in Kolhapur with around 10-12 people. The Garag police have registered a case and are investigating the incident.
