BENGALURU: A nursing mother has allegedly killed her 1.5-month-old baby boy by drowning it in boiling water at Nakallu village in Nelamangala taluk.
The newborn was the son of Pawan and Radha, who were struggling to make ends meet.
According to reports, Pawan had become a drunkard and was unable to take care of the family, which led to financial difficulties. The mother, Radha, allegedly found it challenging to care for the baby, and in a fit of desperation, she committed the heinous crime.
A case has been registered at the Nelamangala town police station, and efforts are being made to take Radha into custody.
