MYSURU: Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife Parvathi B M, who is facing a Lokayukta inquiry in the MUDA site allocation case, while the Directorate of Enforcement is also probing the issue, could face more trouble in the coming days.

RTI activist Gangaraj Idagur is planning to file a petition with the Enforcement Directorate seeking an investigation into the source of funds used in the purchase of 20 acres of land in Mysuru’s industrial area for Rs 1.84 crore in November 2023. The land was purchased by Chief Minister Siddaramaiah’s wife.

Speaking to ‘Public TV’ about this, Gangaraj asked where a housewife got so much money. Therefore, he said that he will discuss this case with the ED officials. “If the authorities agree to discuss with me and take up this along with the case under investigation, I will give them the complete documents. If they say it is none of their business and ask me to lodge a complaint separately, then I approach ED”, Gururaj said.

The ED has already started a probe in connection with the MUDA scam in Mysuru. As part of this, RTI activist Gangaraj was summoned for questioning on Monday. During the questioning, Gangaraj said he gave  documents of 1,400 sites to ED. A very important document related to the case of Siddaramaiah’s wife will also be given to ED, he said.
