VIJAYAPURA: A monitor lizard entered a house at Keerthi Nagar here on Friday, leaving the occupants of hte house terrified. The monitor lizard was about 2-3 feet long.

The monitor lizard entered the house of one R M Biradar and was found in the toilet. Due to the continuous rainfall in the region, the monitor lizard may have entered the house in search of warmth, wildlife experts said. The reptile was later rescued and released in the wild.
