MADIKERI/CHIKKAMAGALURU: A mobile shop owner from Kushalnagar died after suffering a spinal cord injury while diving into a swimming pool at a resort in Chikkamagaluru. The deceased is Nishant (35).
He was on a trip with 10 friends when the accident occurred on Sunday. He severely injured his spinal cord while diving into the swimming pool at a private resort here on Sunday.
Nishant was immediately rushed to a nearby hospital and later transferred to the Yenepoya hospital in Mangaluru for further treatment. Despite efforts to save him, Nishant succumbed to his injuries, leaving his family and friends in shock and grief.
