Mobile phones seized from PFI office had videos glorifying violence, reveals probe

BENGALURU: The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) and city police have retrieved data from eight mobile phones found at the SK Garden Popular Front of India (PFI) office. They revealed that videos of animal heads being cut off and the blood flowing from them, as well as videos related to glorifying violence were found on the devices.

The National Intelligence Agency (NIA) sent mobile phones to FSL to retrieve data.

The eight mobiles found at the PFI office after the raid were sent to the Forensic Science Laboratory Division (FSL) to retrieve the data and now, hundreds of videos glorifying violence have been found in them. The police suspect that these videos were shown to youth PFI activists as part of community training. Also, the videos were deleted as soon as the suspects got a hint about the raid.

The NIA is investigating further in this regard and is trying to find out to whom the messages and videos were sent from the seized mobile phones.
