MANDYA: A Horticulture Department official, who had been reported missing since Monday evening, was found dead in the Deviramma Lake in KR Pet on Wednesday. The deceased is Jayaram (51).
On Monday, Jayaram’s motorcycle and footwear were found near the lake and a search ensued for 24 hours. His body was found in the lake on Wednesday morning.
The reason for the official ending his life was not immediately known. The KR Pet town police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating further.
