BIDAR: A buffalo and a cow were burnt alive after miscreants sett fire to a cattle shed at Devanala village in Hulasur taluk.
A pregnant buffalo and a cow were burnt alive while a bull, which is being treated by veterinary surgeon Shivakumar Kaute, is battling between life and death.
The farmer Shridhar Baburao Biradar was distraught as he lost his livestock, which was his source of livelihood. The farmer’s wife broke down on witnessing the damage. The loss has been estimated at about Rs 3 lakh. Tehsildar Sivananda Mette visited the spot.
