BALLARI: A few unidentified miscreants damaged the windshield of popular singer Mangli car by pelting stone at the Municipal College ground when she was leaving the Ballari Utsav on Staturday after her programme.
Mangli is known for singing in folk style and has her own fan following. She had come to take part in a musical even at the Ballari Utsava on Saturday evening.
Some of her fans barged into the green room behind the stage, to see her. When the police realised that the situation was going out of hand, they resorted to mild lathicharge to disperse the crowd. During this time, some miscreants pelted stoned at her car, leaving the front windshield damaged.
