BIDAR: Unidentified miscreants set fire to three piles of harvested soybean stored at a farm land in Ghat Hipparaga village in Basavakalyan taluk on Friday night.
Farmer Sanju Kumar Patil said there were three piles of harvested soy in his farm and added that he had lost about Rs 6 lakhs worth of soybean yield within minutes as a result of the fire.
By the time the fire brigade reached the venue, the piles of soy were fully engulfed in fire. The Mudabi police visited the spot.
