Hassan MP Prajwal Revanna was disqualified as MP by the Karnataka High Court on Friday.

BENGALURU: After the women’s commission, the Karnataka State Child Rights Protection Commission has taken up the issue of the obscene videos, allegedly involving BJP MP Prajwal Revanna.

Commission chairman K Naganna Gowda has written a letter to Special Investigation Team (SIT) chief Bijay Kumar Singh, and requested that the SIT conduct a proper investigation and file a report if the SIT find the involvement of minor children in the case of sexual assault in Hassan.

“One of the victims has given a statement to the media that Prajwal Revanna had misbehaved with her daughter through a video call. There is prima facie suspicion that the accused used minor girls in the case. The Child Rights Commission requests a report if there is any involvement of minor girls in the sexual assault case”, the letter said.

If any minor has been sexually assaulted, the child rights commission will lodge a complaint under the POCSO case, it said.
