Minor, infant killed in separate accidents, 3 injured

RAMANAGARA, MYSURU: Two people, including a 5-year-old boy, died while one person was seriously injured and two other sustained minor injuries in two separate accidents on Monday.

One person died, while another was seriously injured and two others escaped with minor injuries after the car they were travelling in crashed into a roadside tree near Doddamudavadi in Kanakapura taluk on Friday morning. The deceased is Vinay (14) while the seriously injured is Aniket.

All the four were residents of Ittamadu in Bengaluru and had gone to a resort for the weekend. The accident occurred when they were returning. The injured were admitted to a hospital in Harohalli and the Kanakapura Rural police have registered a case.

In another accident, five-year-old Likith died after a car rammed into a two-wheeler from behind near the Yelwal petrol bunk in Mysuru.
