BALLARI: A 10-year-old girl, who had gone out of her house to attend nature’s call, was found dead under suspicious circumstances at Dungawati Tanda in Hadagali taluk. The deceased has been identified as Anasuya (10), the only daughter of father Ravi and mother Lakshmi.
The parents expressed suspicion after finding the body of the girl which was found next to a pit, and a mug on the other side. The parents have claimed that their daughter was murdered.
Vijayanagar SP Sriharibabu and MLA Krishna Naik inspected the place. A case has been registered at the Tambrahalli police station, and more details will be revealed after the Forensic Science Laboratory (FSL) report is received, the police said.
