BENGALURU: A man’s illicit affair led to the brutal killing of his wife and his paramour in Peenya area. The husband, Mallegowda, had been having an affair with Chaya, and his family was unhappy about it.
Mallegowda had even bought property in Chaya’s name and was funding her daughter’s education in Russia. His wife, Yamuna had been unhappy about the affair and had argued with Chaya over the phone. The argument had been ongoing for some time, and the tension between the two families had been building up.
On the day of the incident, Yamuna had called Chaya and told her to end the affair and leave her husband alone. The argument escalated, and Yamuna, along with her brother Sudeep, went to Chaya’s house. They arrived in an autorickshaw, and Sudeep was accompanied by a young woman.
When they reached Chaya’s house, they broke the window and entered the house. A scuffle ensued and both women were stabbed to death. A minor boy, who was present at the scene, tried to intervene but was pushed aside by Sudeep.
The young woman who accompanied Sudeep alerted the neighbours, and the police were informed. The police arrived at the scene and found the two women lying dead. The accused, including Sudeep and the minor boy, have been arrested.
It is said that the minor had bought a knife two months ago, anticipating trouble. The investigation is ongoing, and the police are trying to piece together the events that led to the brutal murders. The neighbors are still in shock, and the police are urging people to come forward with any information they may have about the incident.
