BENGALURU: The Karnataka Lokayukta has issued a notice to Housing Minister Zameer Ahmed Khan over acquisition of disproportionate assets. In the notice, the minister has been asked to provide details about his assets.
After the Directorate of Enforcement (ED) conducted raids on Zameer Ahmed recently, the agency had informed the Lokayukta to investigate the disproportionate assets issue. Following this, an FIR was registered and investigation taken up.
The Lokayukta had already issued three notice to Zameer Ahmed Khan, but he had sought time to present the documents. He is expected to produce the relevant documents sometime next week.
